Information
Ha Long Bay (Descending Dragon Bay) is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Vietnam’s most popular places to visit. Ha Long Bay has an area of around 1,553 km2, including 1,960 limestone islets and karsts which rise majestically out of the emerald blue waters to heights of up to 100 metres (30 feet). The sheer size and numbers of these outcrops provide a stunning contrast and backdrop to the Bay’s water.
